The TheraWand LA-Wand  (formally PelviWand) can:
  • be used as a internal massage tool for both women and men
  • provide self-help treatment for trigger point massage or trigger point release in the vagina and/or rectum
  • enable you to carry out your own treatment at home - preferably with the guidance of a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
  • provide an effective treatment approach involving physiotherapy and relaxation techniques
  • help patients to ‘direct’ the therapy themselves allowing a greater sense of control over their own therapy
  • empower physical and psychological wellbeing.

The LA-Wand™ has been elongated 3.8cm for easier reachability.

Additionally, there are now 4 balls instead of 3 as well as a tapered or ‘elliptical’ end.

This wand still has a thinner shaft of 1.6cm with the balls being 2.2cm in diameter.

It empowers you to control the exact amount and location of pressure applied. Each wand has two release-ends.

The brilliant curves, release-ends and improved overall design make the Pelviwand perfect for men and women intravaginally and/or  intrarectally to gently massage pelvic floor muscles that are tender, tight or have trigger-points.

  • Proudly made in the USA.
  • Proven, patented design addresses pelvic pain, discomfort and sexual pain.
  • Sealed in plastic, comes with a cotton carrying pouch, an informational brochure.
  • Made of the highest grade acrylic

The LA-Wand™ is a longer wand and helps when reachability may be strained. The LA-Wand™ is commonly recommended for anal and/or vaginal use.

TheraWands have been found by physiotherapists to be indispensable in pelvic floor treatments, including but not limited to:

More information on Acylic (Plexiglass)

Cast Acrylic, also known as plexiglass, is a homogenous material mixed and formed using casts into various products such as aquariums, medical devices, LCD screens, and furniture. Because the ingredients are first mixed and then poured into molds, the substance is uniform with equivalent properties in all directions. Cast Acrylic is less than half the weight of Glass but many times stronger at the same time. The nonporous surface makes it easy to clean, but the material should not be exposed to harsh solvents to prevent scratching. Acrylic surfaces are naturally resistant to bacteria and other unsanitary surfaces, and can be easily disinfected with a non-abrasive cleanser. Cast Acrylic is a BPA free and recyclable material.
