Delivery Information

The who, how and what.... of delivery

We aim to provide efficient and friendly service. We work hard to process orders promptly and get parcels to the courier daily. However, there can be circumstances out of our control and we ask for your understanding if your parcel is delayed. See below for information on delivery.

Who

I use NZ Post for couriering parcels. I've found them to be very reliable, with good customer service. NZ Post can deliver to urban and rural addresses, PO boxes and business addresses.  The tracking address for NZ Post parcels is https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/tracking. I aim to courier your parcel on the next business day. However, please allow 2 days for us to process your order and 1-2 days for non-rural delivery. For rural delivery allow 2-4 days for delivery. All going well, most of the time you will receive your parcel within 1-2 business days to non-rural addresses after placing an order.

How

When payment has been confirmed your parcel is carefully packaged and a courier label placed on it. I place your parcel in a secure location on my property and the rural courier is contacted for pick up. Pick up is Monday to Friday. I live rurally and courier pick up is usually around 9am. So orders and payments need to be confirmed by 8am or your parcel will be sent the following day. Delivery service to you is Monday to Friday. Parcels won't require signature unless you specifically ask. You can add delivery instructions at checkout  and these are printed onto the label but these won't be 100% guaranteed. Please message me if you don't give authority to leave the parcel. or your parcel is urgently needed. 

What

What does your parcel look like? Great question. I understand the personal and private nature of the products on my website. So you parcel is discreet and well packaged. It will be in a dark grey postal bag that you can't see through! The courier label has your name and address on it and in the bottom right corner in small font it has my details on it - Big Wave Enterprises Ltd, S Wilson, 0212098814.

Costs

For all orders under $250 there is a flat rate of $10 for non-rural delivery and $13 for rural delivery. For orders $250 and over there is free shipping. Free shipping does not apply to orders placed via email or phone or when I have to generate an invoice for you.  For international delivery costs, please email us with your address and products you want to order and we would be happy to provide you with a obligation-free quote.  Local pick up is available for free and pick up is on Wakapuaka Road, Nelson. Your parcel can be left in the letterbox on the roadside.

Risk

I have found NZ Post to be very reliable however late or undelivered parcels do happen from time to time. Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for the cost of transportation of all goods. We will do our best to see that deliveries are made according to schedule, but shall not be responsible for delivery delays due to causes beyond our control. Risk in respect of the goods sold shall pass to you when the goods are delivered to you, our letterbox for local pick up or the courier, or the time you pay for the goods, whichever is the earlier. It is your responsibility to insure the goods, even if we have arranged transportation of the goods. If there is a delay in your order please contact us ASAP. If the goods have been delivered to the courier and not delivered or lost it is your responsibility to contact the courier company and lodge a claim. We will supply the tracking and parcel details. 

Rough Ride

If your order arrives and it has been damaged during the journey and unusable please let us know within 5 days of receiving your parcel. Please take photos of the packaging and damaged items so we can use them for insurance purposes. We will aim to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
