About Us
So pleased you have found me and my website. I'm a New Zealander, born in Greymouth, raised in Nelson and, went to Otago Uni to study physiotherapy.
After working in general physiotherapy I wanted to quit, it just wasn't me. But then I found the area of pelvic health and I thought - "Yip, this is me, this is a tricky area, I'm going to continue my physio journey in pelvic health".
That was in 2001, since then I have completed a Masters degree through Curtin Uni in Perth. I'm honoured to have seen many many thousands of patients, and learnt so much. I have loved and cared for my patients as best I can. I have chosen to be a friendly, relatable and a hands on physio. I absolutely believe its a privilege to work as a physio especially in pelvic health and I never take for granted the trust my patients give me and how brave they are.
After owning my successful private practice in Nelson for 10 years, I reluctantly sold my business in Nov 2011 and am now seeing patients for online consults only. And refer them to other physios for assessment as needed. My online shop is still open and cranking ahead and I'm enjoying it.
I'm currently a co-director at Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Nelson and live on the base in Wakapuaka with my husband. I help to train and inspire followers of Jesus for missions. Also to live a life of loving Jesus, people and making Jesus Lord.
